RHB 0% 6 Months Balance Transfer and 0% Installment Plan for Apple iPad2

RHB 0% Months Balance Transfer Plan

Silo, a reader of My Credit Cards blog, highlighted in one my my articles on Balance Transfer that RHB is now offering 0% 6 months Balance Transfer Plan. So I checked it out and found out that RHB 0% Balance Transfer Plan is being offered until 31 January 2012. This is great since CIMB and Maybank 0% Balance Transfer Plan are expiring on 31 December 2011.

Note: Above pic from RHB site and the date should be read as 31 January 2012 and not 2011

As usual, the minimum amount for the 0% 6 months balance transfer is RM1,000.00 and one can do balance transfer up to 80% of his/her credit limit.

There are also Balance Transfer Plans for 12, 18 and 24 months where the interest is charged upfront and then added to the approved balance transfer amount, and the monthly repayments are calculated by adding the balance transfer amount with the upfront interest and then divided by the months.

Click here to download RHB Balance Transfer Form. Wonder if we can just fax it instead of mailing it or submitting the form to a RHB branch as stated in the form.

To read more on the RHB Balance Transfer Plan, go to RHB website at www.rhb.com.my

RHB website does not state the terms and conditions for the 6 months 0% Balance Transfer, I guess they have yet to update it for now. For the benefit of you guys, below is was Silo commented at my article Balance Transfer 2011 - 0% Interest Free Loan Again - click here to read it:

Hey GenX,

Thank you for all the advice you have given me to save some pocket money.

I'm a RHB Credit Card holder. Discreetly, they are giving 0% balance transfer. As there is no advertisement on it, where i only found out the offer when i was browsing through their website.

Condition:-
must have RHB credit card, and transfer up to 80% credit limit ONLY.

anyway, it works like Maybank Balance Transfer. CIMB's BT gives u the killer blow at the end of the installment.

Timeframe, very fast~!!! (a week time)
submitted on the 10th of Nov, by 14th Nov my credit limit had been deducted. 15th Nov, Bank SMS me the approval. Payment to my CC account on the 17 Nov.

Once again, I would like to thank Silo for commenting and informing me about RHB 0% Balance Transfer Plan :)
